I’m Cieanna, a traditional freelance illustrator working from County Meath, Ireland. Working directly with pen, pencil, paint, and paper, I create detailed artwork celebrating botanical beauty, wildlife, and natural landscapes.

My journey and craftsmanship

With a Level 6 qualification in Fine Art and a rich background in jewellery design and making, my approach is shaped by hands-on making, texture, and meticulous attention to pattern. I believe there is an irreplaceable warmth in artwork where the natural paper grain and authentic brushstrokes remain visible in the finished piece.

Inspiration and collaborative projects

My inspiration comes primarily from nature, Irish wildlife, and delicate botanical forms. I love collaborating with authors, businesses, and individuals who appreciate the tactile individuality of traditional illustration—bringing bespoke warmth to publishing, editorial work, packaging, stationery, and art licensing.
